The new Cylinder GrinderMinder is another version of our original spherical design. The “Cylinder“ will give a lower, flat profile and is inserted at a 90 degree angle into the stone or concrete, rather than at an angle. The stem of the “Cylinder“ is identical to our original GrinderMinder, so that it will provide the same stability and resistance to vandalism.

These skateboard deterrents are designed for either round or flat-topped handrails. They are made from aluminum and are specially coated with a paintable surface, if the customer wishes to match the deterrents to the handrail. They are supplied with self-drilling and threading stainless steel screws. The standard finish is silver, if left unpainted.

These deterrents are designed to be used on metal or wood handrails and benches. They are the standard 1” GrinderMinder stainless steel ball, black oxide finished, with a threaded hole on the underside that will accept a bolt. Customer will drill a hole through the rail or bench surface and bolt these pieces on from the underside. Bolts are sold separately to the customer’s specified length. Other materials and finishes can be used for custom pieces.
